Kolkata, July 2021: For the first time ever, designer store Nameg located at 56A Raja Basanta Roy Road, Kolkata – 700029 (Near Southern Avenue Swimming Pool) successfully organized a live fashion showcasing at the store through their Facebook page. In such times, when physical events are prohibited, Nameg executed a glamorous fashion show within its store making it virtually accessible to its audience.

Conceptualized by Supreeta Singh PR Consultancy, “Monsoon Magic – A Saree Saga” was hosted by the vivacious anchor and social media influencer Shelley on Friday July 16 with current viewership reaching up to 10,000 and more. Models Sushmita, Tamori, Tanusree, Aishwarya, Kutubuddin and Shadman showcased the stunning and bright monsoon collection featuring Benarasis, cotton handlooms, jamdanis, Patolas, ajrakh prints, silks, kurtas, dhotis and jackets in various shades of yellow, green, blue, lavender, pink and red. Priced at INR 5,000 onwards, the sarees and men’s wear are for all occasions and seasons available in th store as well as online at www.nameg.in.

The three owners of Nameg, Namita Dashora, Meghali Barua Lahiry and Rupali Barua were excited and happy to be able to reach out their audience with such a beautiful presentation. “In-house events are difficult to do know so we are very happy that we could do this fashion show at Nameg and reach out to our friends, family and buyers. Nameg has such a beautiful and varied collection of sarees, men’s wear, kid’s wear, home linen, jewelry etc that it would be a waste not to engage a larger audience now,” said Namita Dashora.
